The OECS Commission 2021 Sustainable Development Movement was arguably the most important event taking place in the region in the year 2021. The communities of the Eastern Caribbean were entering their second year of economic hardships as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Our work on SDM 2021 challenged us to take advantage of the opportunity to, connect ideas and thought leaders to our regional communities most in need of their support.
Our work adopted the “Thoughtful Approach” to successful communications campaigns. Telling stories that matter to engage people who care, providing overwhelming value to drive action, and delivering memorable, shareable experiences to the converted.
Through our strategic digital marketing campaigns, we successfully registered 14,524 persons for the event. One of the biggest takeaways from the Summit Campaign has been the power of rallying allies in our efforts toward Sustainable Development.
It was rewarding to see our campaign efforts reach almost 2 million people in 29 Countries around the World with audiences who engaged deeply with the idea of unifying as One Caribbean for Sustainable Development.
